1. Data Controller

Glix Studio is the data controller responsible for processing your personal data under KVKK and, where applicable, GDPR.

2. Personal Data We Collect

We may collect the following categories of personal data:

• Identity & Contact Data: Name, email address
• Transaction Data: Purchase records, invoices, license keys
• Payment Data: Processed securely by Polar (we do not store card details)
• Technical Data: anonymized or aggregated technical information such as device type, browser version, and anonymous application logs
• Usage Data: License activation status and limited usage metrics necessary for functionality

3. Legal Basis for Processing (KVKK & GDPR)

We process personal data based on the following legal grounds:

• Performance of a contract (license delivery, subscription management)
• Legal obligations (financial records, taxation)
• Legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, product improvement)
• Explicit consent, where required
• Anonymous analytics and error monitoring are processed based on our legitimate interests in maintaining and improving our services.

4. Purposes of Processing

Your personal data is processed to:

• Provide and maintain our software products
• Process payments, subscriptions, and license validation
• Communicate service updates and support responses
• Ensure security and prevent misuse
• Improve product performance and user experience

5. Polar Integration

We use Polar as our payment, licensing, and subscription infrastructure provider. For these purposes, relevant personal and transactional data is shared with Polar.

Polar processes data in accordance with its own privacy and security policies and applicable data protection laws.

6. Data Transfers

Personal data may be transferred to service providers located inside or outside Türkiye, including Polar, in compliance with KVKK Article 9 and GDPR cross-border transfer requirements.

7. Analytics & Error Monitoring

We use privacy-focused tools to understand how our products perform and to improve stability:

• OpenPanel – used for anonymous, cookieless usage analytics. We do not identify individual users, and no personal data such as names, emails, or user IDs are collected through analytics.
• GlitchTip – used for anonymous error monitoring to detect and fix technical issues. Error reports do not intentionally contain personal data.

These tools are used solely for product improvement, performance monitoring, and security purposes, based on our legitimate interests under KVKK and GDPR.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill contractual obligations, comply with legal requirements, or resolve disputes. Anonymous analytics and error data are retained for a limited period solely for performance analysis and system improvement.

9. Your Rights

Under KVKK and GDPR, you have the right to:

• Learn whether your data is processed
• Request access, correction, or deletion
• Object to unlawful processing
• Request restriction or portability (where applicable)
